Character: SailorPluto From: SailorMoon  Debut: 20 March 2005 - Cartoomics - Milano Group Gallery: [ ] THE GALLERY shots: 25  [ photo session by Daniele Faccioli ] WHAT ABOUT & MAKING OF difficulty: A distanza di sei anni dalla mia prima combattente in marinaretta, Sailor Mars, è il turno finalmente dell'altra sailor che più di tutte mi ha affascinato da sempre, oltre che per la sua bellezza, anche per l'ala di mistero che ricopre la sua arcana mansione: custodire il tempo. Perché ho scelto questa versione? Semplicemente perché le outer senshi, da subito si presentano con una mise leggermente modificata rispetto alle protagoniste del quintetto base, e ciascuna con un' arma propria (per Sailor Pluto si tratta della stupenda chiave del tempo). Quando con l'avanzare della storia le guerriere acquisiscono nuovi poteri, tutte le marinarette si omologano, compresi fiocchi orecchini e corsetti. Così ho ritenuto più interessante cimentarmi con qualcosa di un po' diverso, dato che altrimenti il costume sarebbe risultato identico a quello di Sailor Mars (colori a parte, s'intende). Stavolta il tessuto utilizzato per body e guanti è lycra bianca, non più similpelle ,mentre marinara e gonna sono di raso nero cangiante. Per la stupenda chiave del tempo il Bepo si è superato;completamente di legno, granat orb a parte s'intende. Ho voluto aggiungere anche la catena d'argento con le chiavi pendenti che si trova solo nelle illustrazioni dell'autrice e nel manga... secondo me è uno di quei dettagli che fa la differenza. After six years from my first Sailor Senshi, Sailor Mars, it’s finally Sailor Pluto’s turn, a warrior that has always fascinated me both for her beauty and the mysterious air that surrounds her arcane duty: watching over time. Why did I choose this version? Simply because from their very first appearance the Outer Senshi immediately show up in a suit that is slightly different from the one worn by the five Inner Senshi, and each of them has a personal weapon (Sailor Pluto has the marvellous Time Key). When, as the story goes on, the sailors get new powers, all the costumes become similar, up to ribbons, bodices and earrings. So I thought it would be more interesting to wear something different from the Sailor Mars cosplay. This time I used white lycra for body and gloves and not leatherette, while sailor and skirt are made of colour changing silk like fabric My dad really outdid himself: the magnificent Time Key is entirely made out of wood (garnet orb aside). I also liked adding the silver chain from which keys hang that can be seen only in Naoko Takeuchi's illustrations and in the manga...
